The Pomsky is an impressive mix of Siberian Husky and Pomeranian. With Husky’s face-to-face in a small Pomeranian body, he makes another major move to the full Husky.
Pomskies come in many shapes and sizes, allowing them to adapt to a wide range of family and lifestyle styles. They do not have the natural desire to get along with others, but with encouragement and patience, they will become your best friends. Do you think you are ready to compete? What is Pomsky? (To understand)
The Pomsky Breeders cross between the Siberian Husky and the Pomeranian. This new breed was first introduced 15 years ago.
It is described as mixed and expected to be small, possibly one way to the Siberian Husky. These little wolves come in a variety of sizes, coat types, and color patterns. They have a beautiful, doglike appearance that lasts a lifetime.
The Pomeranian Husky is a very powerful and playful hybrid, and its strength comes from volcanic forests that are sure to keep you busy. They love their owners and hate being left alone. Despite their strength, dogs are anxious. They may be shy or reticent by nature and may find it difficult to be demonstrative or outgoing. They will need constant attention from their best friend. It can be hard to catch, but if you put in the time and effort, it is worth it.

Pomsky Appearance
Since this is a mix, their look is a wild card (you never really know what you can get). Toy Pomskies are small enough to carry under your arm, while others like the Huskies have thin builds and strong legs. The beautiful puppy is like Husky in the Pomeranian body. Small to medium-sized dogs have a thin and strong build. Their ears should point upwards and their soft tail should curl upwards.
Their faces are like those of a wolf with blue eyes or black eyes. Both of these pads have double coats and do not need to be trimmed.
Height and width
When you mix small and large breeds, their size varies and is often unpredictable. However, on average, they should be about 10-15 inches long and weigh 10-25 pounds. Types of toys are small, up to 10 inches long and weigh between 7 and 10 pounds.
Colors and coat of sorts
As you would expect, the colors of this type are very different. Most artisans aim for white, silver, and black Husky colors. Other colors can include brown, tan, cream, and even ginger. The “Foxy” color form is a red ginger with a white belly and legs. As the name suggests, they are like red foxes
The White Stunner is a pure white from head to toe.
There are many different coats, but most breeders will aim for a longer, wavy coat similar to Husky’s. Some will have tighter, softer Pomeranian coats, and some may even have thin coats with fine hair. Tall covered dogs shed frequently and should be barked daily. Those with short coats just shed lightly and will enjoy the weekend scrubs.
5 interesting facts about the Pomeranian Husky
- Although the race is unknown to the American Kennel Club, it has its own ethnic club (the Pomsky Club of America).

- A Pomsky not only looks like a little wolf, but can also cry like a wolf.
- Crossbreeding for Huskies and Pomeranians is often done by design techniques to reduce the risk of breeding large and small dogs.
Pomsky personality and character
These little power balls have some funny character, but they come from a race of two parents who are known for their stubbornness.
Once the Husky Pomeranian Blend chooses you as their best friend, they will never want to leave you alone. It certainly is not a race for those who want to spend more time in bed. You should expect to spend a lot of time with them running, walking, playing, and often just getting busy.
They are very talkative, but this will only increase when they feel neglected.
These dogs are not naturally friendly and can be very shy and come from strangers they do not know as friends. They have not done well in families with children under 10, as making noise from a young child can force them. Be especially careful when introducing them to other pets (especially small dogs and cats). They have inherited a strong Husky animal and often view other animals as endangered.
Are Pomskies a good family dog?
These dogs are better for single men (or married couples) than for families. If you have children, they should be old enough to understand that they have to be gentle with your dog – a loud or aggressive child can scare Pomsky.
Caring for Pomsky
Training is the most needed and time-consuming part of Pomsky’s care. Their initial care and grooming is simple and not much different from other dogs. It is important to remember that this species is dynamic and needs to be managed. They want an owner who can follow them and live in them.
