New York Fashion Week in the International Yearbook

February and September are one of the most critical months in the International Fashion Year. The most prestigious fashion event, New York Fashion Week, is held in New York City, USA, during these two months of each year. It is one of the four prestigious and fundamental fashion weeks held in the world every year. The other four on the list are Paris Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week and London Fashion Week.

The first New York Fashion Week was held in 1943 and was the first in Fashion Week’s history. After World War II, when the whole world was leaning towards the French fashion industry, this fashion week was organized in America. It is also called Press Week because it was open only to designers and fashion

journalists. Interested shoppers or the general public were not invited, but they had to go to the fashion houses to find out what’s new at the end of the show. Press Week was a huge success, and the world-famous fashion of Vogue, who were only interested in the French fashion, also published reports on Press Week. Through this, American fashion trends and designers became known in world fashion.

New York Fashion Week can only be enjoyed by guests, including selected individuals associated with the fashion industry, fashion press, stars and media.

Every year at New York Fashion Week, there is something new, something eye-catching. The presence and use of information technology are noticeable in this show.
Two Bangladeshi entrepreneurs at New York Fashion Week
The roots of the international brand of women called ‘Nadz and Sabs’ are in Bangladesh. After wearing the band’s clothes, foreign models took part in the catwalk in the spring session of 2015 on the runway of New York Fashion Week. Initially, in 2013, two friends living in Australia formed the company’ Nadz and Sabs’. Designer Nadia Khan and business director Sabrina Rashid also developed the brand in Australia. Needle yarn, beads, colour crafts, hand paint, tie-dye, work meet the buyer’s demand to fulfil the special day arrangement of their brand. At the time, at New York Fashion Week, they were making designs with silk’s predominance in clothing.
